Embedded Quality Assurance is the essential backbone of our managerial approach. It is a recursively and regular performed process, top down as well as bottom up. It needs to be short cycled. Actually it is just about Plan – Do– Check– Act.

 | | |
By embedded quality assurance we address:
-
Overcome the pitfall of delivering what was demanded at first and not what is needed now
-
Staying aligned through time to the business solution
-
Being open minded to changing perspectives
-
Staying focused on collecting gained benefits
Nowadays everyone uses quality assurance to safeguard their processes, programs and projects. But even when an enterprise wide general quality approach exists in most cases quality assurance still is inward: my program, my project, my process. Integration, enterprise solution alignment, is left – we’re sorry to state – too often as an issue left for Control.
The embedded quality approach we stand for is outward. Business justification for example is not narrowed to my business case or my project plan. The objective is in continuous alignment to the overall enterprise solution and the context of the world outside.
In a nutshell: Justify not only by looking forward, but look over your shoulder. Ask yourself: ‘Do I benefit the overall solution, is the solution still valid, and is my course still valid?’. Your business case itself may be valid, but is this also the case when it is assessed against the evolving environment.
